Postcard Albums

Postcards in old photo albums and boxes are often overlooked because that’s how we are used to seeing them. Often even treasured photo collections can be seen in old albums, where placing a photo can often ruin it.

The SAFE e-shop recommends the use of at least shield pockets to protect old family photos or any photo collection. However, albums are better suited for better organisation and presentation of photos. When choosing an album, it is worth thinking first of all about whether the photos are new or old, which will determine the size of the pocket, and then about the number of photos per page, which will determine the format of the album. Many collectors, however, choose to use a classic Compact A4 album, which uses pages that can hold both old and new postcards at the same time.
